Virtual Graduation
Given the current challenges that are affecting all of our lives, celebrating and recognizing the Class of 2020 is as important as ever. As previously mentioned, the Anaheim Union High School District will honor the Class of 2020 graduates at the end of the school year by celebrating their accomplishments in a personalized virtual graduation on Saturday, May 30.
What is a virtual graduation?
-
Each school will live stream their graduation via our AUHSD YouTube channel on Saturday, May 30th at a time to be announced later.
-
Each graduate can create a video clip with their own personalized message available for sharing across social media with family and friends.
-
Each school will have a landing page where students can view graduation speeches and see their classmates’ individualized slides/videos.
What do you need to do?
-
Seniors will be contacted via their AUHSD Gmail account in the next few days so they can submit photos and videos for this special event.
-
Students are encouraged to wear their cap and gown in photos and videos submitted, and schools will be contacting students to schedule a cap and gown pickup at each site.
-
If you have not already done so, subscribe to our YouTube channel at AUHSD Communications to be notified when your school’s live stream will be available.
-
Please feel free to share this information with friends and family so they can view the live stream and share in the celebration wherever they may be.
Please be sure to note all deadlines that will be provided by each site so you/your graduate is not left out of this special event.
